Charity is the act of extending love and kindness to others unconditionally, which is a conscious act but the decision is made by the heart, without expecting a reward. Charity is essential and therefore meant to be done for public benefit, relief and to provide assistance to people at times of need in any part of the world.
We are always ready to come ahead to work for the upliftment and betterment of the children, women Development, Education, Social awareness and other objectives.
As part of education and development, we are providing online learning support for children residing in child care institutions (orphanages) in Kerala and the project is named Uyare. Uyare is a project implemented by ATMA Foundation looks forward to providing firm academic foundation and enhanced learning skills among the children of institutions across Kerala.
Under the project we focus:
- Uyare organises regular online sessions on the basics of different subjects
- The children, including college students, are provided training in Spoken English
- Special sessions by eminent teachers and academicians are occasionally organised to kindle the children’s interest in various subjects
- Various sessions for motivation, leadership skills, financial literacy and so on are being organised for the children under the project
- Learner-centred strategies are adopted in the project
- Provide a platform where the children of different CCIs can interact with each other
ATMA Foundation envisions expanding the project to support more children, through enrolling more CCIs in the project and by seeking the involvement of more volunteer teachers and academic experts.
As part of various campaigns and projects, ATMA Foundation offers many services to the public. We empower individuals, families and social groups to lead happier lives with healthier relationships and serve less privileged fellow beings with love, by fostering intrapersonal and interpersonal harmony.
