ATMA Gurukulam is a home for girls who have no safe home, no functional parents or no means for education. The Railway Child Help Desk at Thrissur Railway Station is a Childline –partnered project to rescue and help children in distress. The ATMA CADC (Child & Adolescent Development Centre) provides holistic solutions for personal development to children & adolescents in need of guidance.
ATMA conducts workshops, campaigns, training and seminars for empowerment of Women, Youth, Adolescents & Senior Citizens. ATMA EC Initiatives focus on empowering the individual and enabling compassionate intervention for social good. WE CARE is a series of campaigns based on the rights, issues and empowerment of Children, Women and Senior Citizens. ATMA Volunteer Development Initiatives promote volunteerism among people of all age groups, and train them to serve the society effectively and gracefully.
At ATMA, we believe that happy relationships is the key to happy living. The ATMA FCC (Family Counselling Centre) provides free counselling & guidance to families in conflict. ATMA conducts Family Harmony Workshops to empower individuals with understanding and compassion towards others, to build deeper, healthier and happier relationships within the family. Saha Dharmam Chara is our initiative to provide pre-marital training and post-marital guidance to couples.
The ATMA Yoga Peethom offers regular Yoga Training & Practice for holistic health. Yoga Therapy is provided to combat stress and lifestyle diseases. The Mini fitness centre provides simple equipment for regular exercise. ATMA also conducts Primary Health Care camps and Specialty Medical Camps with the help of expert professionals.
Living in Harmony (LIH) is a practical philosophy of effective living. It advocates some simple attitude changes and perceptual shifts that help a person to lead a happier life with healthier relationships. Developed by Mr C K Suresh, Founder- Director of ATMA, LIH combines the wisdom of Indian Spirituality with modern techniques of Psychology and Management, to develop effective intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships.
The ATMA Kalakshetram promotes art as a culture for harmonious living. It provides opportunities for people of all age groups to learn, understand and appreciate classical art forms.
ATMA promotes Digital & Financial Literacy among the common people through the ATMA DAFEC. ATMA is also engaged in rehabilitation projects in flood-hit areas and in providing free mobility aids.
Beginning as one man’s commitment to seek a creative response to a dire social need, ATMA has now grown into a reputed Voluntary Organisation, actively engaging with the community through various development initiatives. From promoting ‘Happy Living with Healthy Relationships’, ATMA has expanded into ‘Volunteering Transformation’ – enabling people to achieve their best and inspiring them to share their blessings with less privileged brethren.
