The cow dung and urine are used as manure for a kitchen garden at the ATMA Gurukulam.
The garden in turn provides a part of the cow-feed.
Milk from the cows is utilised for the children at ATMA Gurukulam.
The children are also involved in taking care of the cows, which helps them release stress and has a therapeutic effect.
