Overview

The development model of Kerala has always been an inspiration to the country and to the world. Yet, there are persistent social challenges unique to Kerala, that need to be urgently addressed. This can be done only with the coordinated efforts of all the stakeholders in the development sector.

Kerala has a large number of Nonprofit or civil society organisations, who play a significant role in social transformation by ensuring impact at the grassroots level and bringing about last mile connectivity. In the changing scenario of social work, these organisations need to re- invent themselves in the light of emerging trends, to keep up their noble work. Impact focus, effective collaborations and evidence-based programme design are just some of the areas that nonprofits need to orient themselves on.

The ATMA Social Impact Conclave is an effort to bring together the different stakeholders of the social development sector - non profit leaders, policy makers, academia, CSR professionals, development agencies, etc on a common platform. The conclave will consist of keynote sessions, panel discussions, master classes and networking opportunities.

The conclave aims at facilitating interactions and laying the groundwork for better policy frameworks, more effective donor engagements and impactful social action. It is envisioned as an opportunity for the stakeholders to discuss innovative interventions and open up their thinking towards a new development agenda. The conclave will help build capacity of NPOs and CSOs, strengthen stakeholder networks and foster collaboration for co-creating innovative solutions.
