The relief of poverty, the improvement of government, and the advancement of religion, education, or health are some of the charitable activities. Atma Foundation is a <strong>charitable trust in India for women empowerment<\/strong> to lead happier lives with healthier relationships, and to bring positive change in the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atma Foundation, the top <strong>charitable trust in India<\/strong> strives to promote economic development and the social welfare objectives of the Government. Our outreach and more localised approach helps to identify the needy and lend a supporting hand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We CARE for Woman Empowerment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>An 8-Day Woman Empowerment Campaign was organised at Thrissur in 2016. The programme, exploring the various aspects of Woman Empowerment and the need for effectively addressing the threats to safety and development of women, reached out to the public through various channels and programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Campaign highlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>51 hour upavasam by ATMA volunteers<\/li><li>5-Day perspectives conclave on Woman Empowerment with talks by experts<\/li><li>Mass garba performance with 500 dancers<\/li><li>2 &#8211;  Day Seminar with dignitaries from different walks of life<\/li><li>Cultural programmes<\/li><li>Competitions for school &amp; college students<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Other Programmes <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Awareness drive and outreach at North Bus Stand, Thrissur, on Women&#8217;s Day (in 2017 and 2018) &#8211; pamphlet distribution, street play, public meeting <\/li><li>Free health check up and medical camp for women at North Bus Stand, Thrissur, on Women&#8217;s Day 2018<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Special Programme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seminar on &#8216;Economic Participation of Women &#8211; New age opportunities and challenges&#8217; on 9th March 2019 at Thrissur, with participation of over 200 women delegates.
