ATMA Foundation

ATMA Foundation is a Voluntary Organisation based out of Thrissur, Kerala, working for individual empowerment, family welfare and community development. ATMA has 10 projects, 6 major campaigns and regular programmes in areas like child protection, education, empowerment, family welfare, art & culture, digital & financial empowerment and disaster relief & rehabilitation.

ATMA Foundation invites applications from passionate and talented dancers to participate in the

ATMA Navratri Nrityotsav 2021 - Virtual Classical Dance Festival

1. Last date for receiving applications is 21st September 2021, 11:59 PM IST

2. Eligibility: Anyone who has completed 15 years of age as on 31st August 2021 is eligible to apply. You need not be a professional dancer or have any qualifications in dance.

3. The dance festival mainly includes performances in BHARATANATYAM, MOHINIYATTAM, KUCHIPUDI & KATHAKALI. If you would like to submit an entry in any other dance form, you are welcome to do so.

4. Please fill this Google Form with the correct details

5. Upload a 3 to 5 minute UNEDITED video of your performance in your google drive. Paste the link in the space provided in the Profile Section of this form.

6. Communication will be sent to the selected participants by 26th September

7. If selected for the festival, participants should send a 25-30 minute performance video recorded exclusively for the purpose of ATMA Navarathri Nrityotsav, on or before 5th October 2021.

8. The final selection will be done by an eminent panel of artistes. The decision of the panel will be final and binding.


ATMA Foundation, as part of the 'UYARE' project,organised a live online session on CAREER GUIDANCE for students from Std 10 onwards. The webinar was broadcast live on the ATMA Foundation YouTube channel on 25th July 2021 at 2 pm IST.

The session commenced with an introduction by Sri C K Suresh, Director, ATMA Foundation. He conveyed the importance of career planning and the need to match career choices with talents and interests. Ms Parvathy G, teacher and entrepreneur, gave a presentation on the wide range of career options available in the present day world. This was followed by a presentation on the opportunities in the Govt sector by Sri Venugopal, expert PSC coach. Sri Suresh, in his concluding remarks reassured the children that, with smart efforts, they can overcome every challenge and achieve great heights. He inspired them to focus on what they want and work towards it with passion. Over 500 children attended the programme online.
